Need to bring gloves and lights; chicken wire will be provided
‘Tis the Season – Join members of the Kure Beach Community Center Committee in a craft project that will spread Christmas cheer throughout Town. These lighted chicken wire globes and wreaths are easy to construct and make a great addition to any holiday display. The Committee will be supplying the chicken wire; all you need to bring is lights (strands of at least 100 lights suggested), gloves, and your fees and canned goods. Contact Town Hall at (910) 707-2015 or [email protected] by November 20th with your name, phone number, and email address to sign up. Payment and canned goods will be collected on site the day of the event. This is a great craft project for the whole family! Canned goods will be donated to The Help Center of Federal Point.
Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping while supporting local artisans and enjoying beautiful ocean views at the Kure Beach Holiday Market. This year, the Holiday Market is on Saturday, November 17th and 24th at the Ocean Front Park. Market hours are 9am through 3pm. Food trucks will be on site serving up delicious food and Jolly Mon da DJ will be providing musical entertainment. With over 35 art, craft, and food vendors, you’re sure to find a unique gift for everyone on your shopping list!
The Town will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots during the Holiday Market. We have collaborated with our generous vendors to put together two awesome raffle baskets. Bring a new, unwrapped toy donation, or minimum $5 cash donation, to the Town table at the Holiday Market and receive entry into the raffle drawing for that day. We thank you in advance for helping make Christmas brighter for children in our area.
Garbage and recycling collection delayed by one day. Monday pickup will be Tuesday and Tuesday pickup will be Wednesday.
