Farewell Summer Jazz Funeral

As we close the door on another Summer season, we once again pay tribute with the Kure Beach Farewell Summer Jazz Funeral. This year’s event is Friday, October 4th at Ocean Front Park. Festivities kick off with a procession led by the Smokehouse Ramblers band at 7:00 pm with a concert to follow. T’Geaux Boys Food Truck will be on site serving up traditional New Orleans cuisine. The Town will have beads and masks available to adorn yourself, be sure to arrive early to prepare.

The procession starts at L Avenue and saunters down Atlantic Avenue to the Ocean Front Park Pavilion. The public is encouraged to participate; wear your fancy hats, lacy parasols, and finest dress to join the parade. We hope you join us to celebrate as a community the changing of seasons in Kure Beach!
