This class is designed to give you a full yoga experience with deep stretches, body warming Sun Salutations, alignment focused Asana (sequences of yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and Savasana (relaxation). Perfect for All-Levels! Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend, as modifications will be provided for a safe and satisfying practice. The body will find greater flexibility, strength and improved balance. Stress and tension will melt away leaving you with an overall feeling of energetic peace.
Kure Beach Yoga consists of Instructors Carla Ann Drummond, Meg Young, Tamara Cairns, and Paula Huffman. They have teamed up to offer a variety of dynamic yoga classes at the Kure Beach Community Center! They’re excited to offer “pay what you can” options and affordable class passes. The Kure Beach Community Center is a clean & modern space that offers free parking just a block from the ocean. Yoga classes are open to everyone and no pre-registration is required. All instructors are experienced & knowledgeable, 200 hour trained Yoga Teachers (RYT 200). You can find the class schedule and other updates on Facebook at ‘Kure Beach Yoga’.
Evening classes are “pay what you can” (suggested donation $5-10).
Daytime classes are $10 drop-in or purchase a 10 class pass for $85.
