A New Year’s Day Mindful Yoga Class

Step into the New Year with Awareness! Join us for this rejuvenating Mindful Yoga class in which we will move deliberately through a comprehensive yoga practice. We will stretch, flow, hold poses, and restore as we pay attention to how we are experiencing the poses in our body. There will be an incorporation of awareness of physical sensations, thoughts and feelings that arise during the yoga experience. This paying attention to our present moment to moment experiences allows us a freedom and freshness that can be carried into our New Year’s set of Intentions. This class is open to all, regardless of experience. Poses will be tailored to each individuals level of practice. Please join us! 


Kure Beach Yoga consists of Instructors Carla Ann Drummond, Paula Huffman, and Kim Gargiulo. They have teamed up to offer a variety of dynamic yoga classes at the Kure Beach Community Center! They’re excited to offer “pay what you can” options and affordable class passes. The Kure Beach Community Center is a clean & modern space that offers free parking just a block from the ocean. Yoga classes are open to everyone and no pre-registration is required. All instructors are experienced & knowledgeable, 200 hour trained Yoga Teachers (RYT 200). Evening classes are “pay what you can” (suggested donation $5-10).

Daytime classes are $10 drop-in or purchase a 10 class pass for $85.
